Singles

A couple of years ago, I started a singles group
for the second time. For the next 1 1/2 years
I planned 99% of the activities. I never felt like
the others were very vested because they never
took over and planned anything although I strongly
hinted. Last April was our last activity. I didn't mean
to not plan anymore activities, it just didn't happen. I
was just burned out. An activity did not happen for
6 months until Saturday. I was very surprised when
the group gave me a book and this sign as a thank you
for all the previous planning and finally, I sensed
some investment and planning started without
me doing the planning. Way to go!

Happy Halloween!!!

Here are our pumpkin carvers
Tanner and Rachel carved pumpkins on Saturday.
Sunday, we had out annual Halloween get together
starting out with a little friendly basketball.

Here is the real star.

Next, getting ready.

Rylin and Lily ate more than went on the house.

Happy 3rd Birthday to Carringon Care Bear!!

Little Care Bear continually puts a smile on our face as we
witness or hear about the funny and interesting things
she does. We all know she is very self-sufficient.
Happy Birthday Care Bear, I Love You!!!

Another Year Gone By....40 and Counting

When I left to go to Church, I was surprised to find
balloons on my mailbox with a sign that said,
"Happy 40th Birthday Cheryl, We Love You!
I do not know who my special gift came from.
I'm thinking it was a neighbor of mine.
We went for a delicious dinner at Tent and Kami's house for family
favorites, trip tip roast and crab. These pretty girls treated
us with a dance show. Kami made a delicious German Chocolate Cake.
She shared with us it is the first cake she has made. What?

Thanks to these 3 little helpers I was able
to blow out all of those candles.

A Visit to Utah!

Linky got his first haircut at the hands of his dad.
Linky is such a sweetheart. He is such a happy little boy.
These two little girls are so cute together. They are both
such good little mommies. Notice how all these dolls and
stuffed animals have diapers on. And below, notice the
two bears in the drawers propped to watch tv.

Trav, Erin and I looked a neighborhoods and houses
to figure out where it is they want to live. I'm excited to have
them move back home.Derrick and his finance, Bessie, stayed Saturday night
because they were going to conference and Sunday morning.
We bored them with home movies. We are excited for them as
they will be getting married this week!
