How Did I Get to Where I am.

This was me many years ago. With the baby, Tanner, going away for college, has caused me to reflect on years gone by. I have been a mother for over 33 years and now I live alone. What's that all about? I may live alone, however, there are 18 other people in my daily thoughts. So, I am learning to blog to share my thoughts with all of you and better in keep in touch wherever you are. I love you all!
My first child, Travis. Anyone who is a mother, knows this is a life changing event. Motherhood is awesome and changes a woman's life forever. It is is interesting how few pictures were taken years ago compared to today.
Before I knew it, I had four little boys. That Bronco mania started at a very young age.
And then there were five. We used to love Pizza Factory clothes from St. George.

This is when Tanner finally reached an age when I felt Tanner started to participate with his brothers playing basketball or whatever. This picture was taken in December 2003.
I love this picture. I feel like it shows their individual personalities, probably because it is a snapshot and not a professional picture. Taken in May, 2008 on a Dinner Cruise in NYC.

This is us today. Those five sons have mulitplied and now we have 19 wonderful people in our family.

St George

With most of the family going to Lake Powell, I took the opportunity to spend the week in St. George which is longer than I am usually able to go for. Janene Stauffer was also in St. George. On Friday, we went down to Las Vegas and saw the Donny and Marie show. We enjoyed it. I have not been to Las Vegas in a long time. We also saw Footloose and Aida in St. George.

I had a chance to visit with Tanner and Jesse last weekend. They are doing well.

What do Empty-Nesters Do?

Empty Nesters go to the Temple more often. With 13 Temples in the State of Utah, we are going to visit each one them in the next year, a different one each month.
